Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We come to the E7 Bats Help Center. Find quick answers to common questions about our pro-grade wood bats, custom options, shipping across Europe, and WBSC certifications.
1. General & Brand
What makes E7 Bats different from American bat brands?
Most European players and teams used to wait 4 to 8 weeks to import custom wood bats from North America, facing heavy shipping fees and unpredictable customs clearance delays. E7 Bats bridges that gap: we deliver North American pro-grade timber standards handcrafted right here in Europe. You get elite quality, 5–7 day delivery, and zero customs fees.
Are E7 Bats approved for official league play in Europe?
Yes! All E7 pro-grade wood baseball bats are WBSC certified. They meet all official international and European league regulations for tournament and championship play.
What types of wood do you use?
We primarily build our bats using top-tier Canadian Hard Maple, renowned for its superior density, hard hitting surface, and exceptional pop. We also offer select models in Ash and Birch for hitters seeking varied flex and swing feedback.
2. Customization & Turn Models
Can I design my own custom bat?
Absolutely! With our Custom Bat Builder, you can select your preferred turn model, length, color finish (barrel, handle, and logo), and add personalized laser engraving to make your bat truly unique.
Which turn model should I choose?
- E271 & E271 Puck: Best for contact hitters and gap-to-gap players looking for a balanced swing feel and fast bat speed.
- E243 & E176: Built for power hitters who want an end-loaded or top-heavy profile to whip through the zone with maximum force.
- E110: Ideal for players transitioning from aluminum to wood bats or those seeking maximum control.
- Torpedo Series: Features an elongated barrel to maximize the sweet spot while maintaining precise balance.
What is a "Puck Knob"?
A Puck Knob shifts the balance point slightly closer to your hands, creating a lighter swing weight and increasing agility and bat speed without sacrificing power.
3. Sizing & Weight Drop
What is the standard weight drop for adult wood bats?
All adult E7 pro-grade bats feature a standard -3 drop weight ratio (Length in inches minus weight in ounces). For example:
- 32" (81 cm): Approx. 29 oz (822 g)
- 33" (84 cm): Approx. 30 oz (850 g)
- 34" (86 cm): Approx. 31 oz (878 g)
How do I know which length to select?
Your ideal bat length depends on your height, weight, and current swing style. You can consult our online sizing guide or contact our fitting team for personalized recommendations.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Customs
How long will it take to receive my order?
Because our manufacturing and distribution are located in Europe, standard orders are processed and delivered within 5 to 7 business days across the EU.
Will I have to pay import duties or customs fees?
No. All shipments within the European Union are dispatched locally. You pay zero customs fees, zero import tariffs, and no hidden taxes at delivery.
Do you ship to team academies or offer bulk club discounts?
Yes! We work directly with European baseball clubs, academies, and national federations. Contact us via our contact page for custom team quotes or bulk order inquiries.
5. Bat Care & Durability
How should I care for my hard maple wood bat?
- Always hit with the label up or label down (grain direction) to ensure maximum strength upon impact.
- Avoid storing your wood bat in extreme temperatures, such as direct sunlight, hot car trunks, or damp environments.
- Wipe off dirt or moisture with a dry cloth after every practice or game.
